Environment Policy

Seafield Logistics is committed to the protection of the environment in all locations where Warehousing, Site Services, Contract Packing and Distribution activities take place. As a responsible employer we are committed through continual improvement of our business and within the scope of ISO14001: 2004 to:

  • Comply with all relevant legislation that our business impacts on the environment
  • Reduce air pollution through the considerate purchase of equipment that is fuel-efficient, has lower emissions and has the least impact on the environment at the end of life cycle.
  • Reduce the risk of land and water pollution by implementing robust systems to prevent discharges to land and water and responsibly remove waste from our sites.
  • To reduce, recycle, repair and reuse our resources to prevent unnecessary wastage of materials
  • To conduct business with responsible suppliers and contractors to prevent damage to the environment for activities or purchases that we have contracted them to carry out.
  • To reduce the impact of waste on the environment which includes reduction in waste energy resources.
This policy and all aspects of the Seafield Logistics Environmental Management System (EMS) is to be understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organisation and to our trading partners.

Through training and commitment of Seafield Logistics management and employees, the business will seek to safeguard the environment for future generations.

Management will on a regular basis review and re-appraise this policies effectiveness to maintain the EMS.
